Yes, I’m ready for some time to unwind in the sun!

The Eversewn Maker August project theme was “Beat the Heat.” A day at the beach is just the ticket!

For our beach vacation this year, I sewed up a few things for the trip.

With my stash of Riley Blake Basics, I made splash proof (not waterproof) zip bags for my phone and personal things. For my towel, I added pockets to my towel to hold my book flip flops and the bags. Plus, I made some freezer pop koozies to keep my fingers from freezing while trying to keep cook lounging with my book.

I can’t take credit for the water bottle. That was made by crafty sister!

Next month’s theme is back to school. My kiddos actually go back this month, but you’ll have to wait to see what I made.

Until next time,

~Shereece
