I have been holding on to this little secret for months now! That is so extremely hard for me, but the wait is finally over.

The Separate Ways quilt pattern was published in the 43rd issue of Make Modern magazine this month. This would be my first pattern published in a magazine! {Insert loud squeal} Guess what… It won’t be the last (hint, hint).

I have been really working to hone my free motion quilting skills. I would bet there are many others working to do the same. This pattern was meant to create a canvas to play with different designs. It also makes a fantastic weekend or retreat project.

Make Modern magazine is Australia’s ONLY quilt magazine. They have been bringing quilters in more than 70 countries modern quilt patterns since 2014. Subscribe today to get your copy of the Separate Ways pattern and other quilty goodness!
